I got a new Fire tablet a couple months ago and was surprised at how light it is, plus easy to navigate. I lost my old kindle (rest in peace wherever you are..), so I read on the Fire tablet every day. It's an important gadget for me. I have the cheapest model ($49.99), with 8 GB, and it holds everything I can imagine needing. I do like it better than hubby's iPad. Amazon
