Since coupons.com has made it official that the wording "Redeem at Walmart" is just a suggestion, people may question why it's on there at all. I'm sure Walmart pays some big bucks to have that included. Walmart is aware that the majority of shoppers and checkers will interpret it that you can only use the coupon at Walmart, because they aren't aware of the 'inside information' that it's just a suggestion. Hence, by paying extra, Walmart insures that most people will redeem the coupons in their stores. I don't think there's any chance of getting that wording removed by coupons.com. I'm sure this is a win/win deal for coupons.com and Walmart and fully expect it to continue. The only thing we can do is get an email from coupons.com stating that it's a suggestion only. Even with that in hand, there will still be some Nervous Nelly checkers and managers who won't accept the coupons, but it should work for most store employees.
Check your Kroger and affiliate ad this week to see if you get 4X Fuel points wyb gift cards. The promotion runs through 9/3. Buy participating gift cards at Kroger/affiliates and earn 4x Fuel Rewards Points when using your shoppers card. There are many possibilities for double plays. Think about all the places you'll shop anyway, like for school clothes, gas, home repairs, restaurants, etc. If you're going to spend money at those places anyway, it makes sense to buy gift cards to get the 4x fuel points. Wording on Coupons.com -- We Were Right!
Some of the coupons printed at Coupons.com have the wording "Redeemable at Walmart" or "Available at Walmart". These are manufacturer coupons that are actually redeemable anywhere. But try convincing some checkers or managers of that --- they look at you like you're trying to commit fraud. Reader Joanie B wrote to coupons.com about this. This was their reply. You can get the same reply if you email to support@couponsinc.com . If you have the email in-hand, it's powerful ammunition to get a skeptical employee to accept your coupon.
