With the B1G1F coupons in the latest P&G inserts, and the tons of free CoverGirl makeup that readers scored at RiteAid a few weeks ago, it could mean very little out of pocket, nowhere near an actual $50 expense. KMart Doubling/List of Stores/Coupons to Print

Tomorrow is the big day at KMart. $2 coupons will be doubled, limit 5 per day. You must have a Shop Your Way Rewards card which you can get in-store. Check the list of stores participating here. The doubles will last all week. I heard one rumor that only one like coupon will be doubled per day, but I haven't confirmed that.

I received an email from an RC subscriber, Linda P, who works at KMart. Here is what she was told in a store meeting about the upcoming doubles starting Sunday:

"The majority of the stores are participating so everyone will want to check their store. It is not listed in our ad so I do not know about other areas, but her are the details and this time around the doubling will be closely regulated so here is the regulations:

* Doubling will only be allowed to those who have a shopyourwayrewards card. You can sign up that day or before if you don't have one.

* There is a limit of 5 coupons per customer per day. Up to 2.00. It will be enforced because the computers will be programmed that way. If you try to use 6 the first 5 will be doubled and the 6th one will not. If you try 2 separate transactions the second transaction will not double. But you must have the rewards card and it must be scanned before any product has been scanned.

* The rewards card gives you 1% back on all purchases and can be used at anytime.

* The reasons for the restrictions is not because Kmart wants to be cruel about the coupons or because it was abused, but they are trying various way to help the consumer and Kmart. It is very smart marketing.

* Throughout our sales ads every week there is opportunities to earn double or triple rewards on the purchases. It is a great program, since November I have accumulated 19.00 and used a portion of it to buy a movie."

The Fandango code you receive will be good until 8/31/10. If you've never used Fandango, it's pretty easy. You log on at www.fandango.com and select the theater, movie, and time you want to see. You enter the code and print out a ticket. You take the ticket to the theater and exchange it for a real ticket. Not every theater participates, so do a little homework first and make sure a theater near you accepts Fandango tickets. Of course you could always trade the code on the trade boards if you don't have a theater near you. Also note there is no limit stated on the form. Hershey offers generally have generous or no limits. It's possible it is unlimited.

Prevent Slippage With These Habits

This advice is prompted by a post on Chat:



Fight slippage! Even though we as refunders should be the best at mailing in our refunds, sometimes we are victims of slippage caused by our own disorganization, laziness, or forgetfulness. To fight refunds lost from our own mistakes, here are tried and true habits to make your own:


1. Keep envelopes, pen, address labels, an Exacto knife, and stamps in a kitchen drawer.


2. When you unpack your groceries, put refund items on the counter in a separate place along with the cash tape.


3. Circle items on the receipt, cut off the UPCs, filled out the envelope and form, address, seal and stamp it.


4. Set the envelope to go out in the mail.


5. Put away the product in your cupboard. The trick is to not put it away until the refund is in a sealed envelope ready to mail.


6. Mail it!


7. If the rebate takes multiple purchases done at separate times, address the envelope and keep it in the kitchen drawer. Add cash tapes and UPCs as you buy the products. When you complete the refund, seal and mail immediately.


8. Resolve never to lose another refund.

I wanted to say that even though there doesn't appear to be coupons for Chutes and Ladders and Candy Land they may still be super cheap since you add up the regular price, buy just over $20 worth, get the sale price, the $5 giftcard and the rebate they should be about $1.33 each. That's a raw number though. The $5 giftcard you get isn't good until 6 hours after they activate it. So you can't use the card you get in transaction 1 to pay for transaction 2.It's a good idea to get half the games you want on one day and then use your giftcard the next day to buy the other half of the games you want.
Also...Does Cooties, Bop It and Don't Break The Ice qualify for the $5 giftcard? The sign at my store says wyb $20 in Hasbro board games. But Gator Golf and Elefun aren't board games and they did work. The rebate form is good through 4/11/10. The $5 giftcard wyb $20 in games is good through 4/3/10. I do not know when the sale price ends. I didn't see any signs about getting a free plush wyb Gator Golf and Hungry Hippos. I think it's only with the Elefun game. And I wanted to ask, my cashier today said I could buy all my games in one transaction and if I bought $80 in games I'd get a single $20 giftcard. I told him I didn't believe that and asked for separate transactions anyway."
