I've done some research since so many readers aren't finding McDonalds on their Plink merchant choices. Right now, McDonalds isn't a merchant you can add permanently. If you are a new customer, and follow the instructions below, then spend $10 at McDonalds, you will get the $10 bonus gift card. Plink's goal is to get lots of people into the program, and have those people shop at the merchants who are already participating in the program. So be sure to put 3 merchants in your Plink wallet when you sign up. If you're already a Plink member, sign into your account and add merchants until you have 3. You can only earn Plink points when you shop at your 3 chosen merchants. After you start shopping, then you'll be given the option of adding additional merchants. I think they want to see if you're serious about using the program.
New sign-ups for Plink have the opportunity to earn a free $10 gift card by spending $10 at McDonalds.
You have to be a new customer.
Here's how:
1) Sign up for Plink right now, and register a credit or debit card.
2) Make a $10 purchase at McDonalds by Sunday 6/9 at 11:59 EDT
3) Wait about 7 days
4) 1,000 Plink points will show up in your Plink account.
5) Use the 1,000 Plink points to get a gift card of your choice to Amazon, Target, Starbucks, iTunes, Kohls, Walmart, etc.
Be sure to register the credit/debit card that you'll use to make your McDonalds purchase. Also check out the other merchants that will earn you points. You can choose 3 to start.
Update:
There is a new Plink offer as of today, Wednesday. Once again, you must be a new Plink customer to get this deal. Spend $20 at Sears by 6/16, and you'll get 2,000 Plink points, enough for a $20 gift card to Amazon, Target, Starbucks, iTunes, Kohls, Walmart, etc. If you want to sign up on this Sears deal, start here.
