Update & Instructions on The HasbroToyShop Groupon Offer

Hasbro-2_grid_6NOTE:
You can still do this HasbroToyShop deal.
The voucher is available for purchase on
Groupon under Tampa Bay Area, Fl. Look in the right column, second one down. It doesn't matter where you live.

A lot of readers probably bought the HasbroToyShop voucher from Groupon yesterday. That voucher is available for use. There are some tricky parts of the checkout at HasbroToyShop.com. After you fill your cart, you'll see a field on the checkout page "Promotional Code". DON'T enter your Groupon voucher number there. (I know, kind of dumb). Go through the checkout screens until you come to the one with a gray box in the right column. There are two places to enter codes. Put your Groupon voucher code in the one labeled "Gift Certificates" (not promo code). Click "Apply". It will take off $30 immediately, and works on the shipping.

Another note: Half way through the checkout process, you are asked to enter a credit card number. You don't have to do that. If your order is under $30, the voucher will completely pay for it.

I ordered three SuperSoaker Quick Blasts on sale for $5 each. $15 + $13 shipping and the voucher covered it all. Since the toy is usually $14.99, I feel like I got a three-for-one deal. I got three Soakers for the price of one, and free shipping.
Once I understood which field to enter the voucher number, it went smoothly. By the way, the voucher has no expiration date, so if you save it for a future birthday or Christmas, there is no rush.
* The SuperSoaker Quick Blast is $5 until July 17 (reg $14.99) - I got 3, and the voucher paid for them and the shipping.

I used the voucher from yesterday, and
Groupon just let me buy another one from the link on Tampa Bay.

I'm super glad I got in on this deal. My son's birthday is next month and he's asked for the Tornado vortex super soaker by Nerf. It's $20 plus at Walmart and they NEVER have them in stock. I bought the groupon for $15 and even with shipping and tax I then paid $2.04 extra. Saved me some money and it's being shipped directly to my home. Birthday gift, check!
