Awhile back there were readers on Chat asking to be alerted to the ScanDigital deal on Groupon. It's back today for Philadelphia, but it's good everywhere. Get $100 worth of photo and video digitization for $40. I've done this deal twice and am delighted with how nice the DVDs turned out. They also return your original materials in excellent condition. Send in your old VHS family tapes or even 8mm home movies and you get back everything on DVDs. The DVDs have colorful covers with still shots from the movies. The $100 credit covers a lot of conversion. There is a chart on their website showing how many VHS tapes or 8 mm movies you can get for the $100 voucher. It's well worth $40.
