Free Access to Military Records on Ancestry.com

Get free access to military records on Ancestry.com today only. Genealogy is one of the fastest growing hobbies in America, and it's much easier to do now than in years past with all the records available on line, especially at Ancestry.com. In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, my grandfather served in World War I and was injured. I'm going to do some checking right now. Update - Oops: It's a no go. He was Canadian, though he emigrated to the U.S. after the war. He served in the Canadian Army. Duh.

Here are the records that will be searched. You'll need to know your relative's name, birth year and place, place he/she lived, and race. You can search without that much info, but will have to search through more possible results.
