The annual free comic book giveaway is this Saturday, May 4, at participating stores. There are 50 different special edition comic books to choose from, like SpongeBob and Star Wars. Find a participating store here. Some stores give the child more than one. No promises, except that each child will get at least one. Be sure to note the store hours. In a spot check, most opened at 10 am or 11 am. This event always happens on the first Saturday in May and has a long history.
