Making Swagbucks Work For You

Did you sign up for Swagbucks but haven't done anything with it? It is a good program that will earn you Amazon gift certificates (or other gift cards). But if you are new to it, you're probably wondering how to make it work and how to start getting Swagbucks. The most common way to get Swagbucks is by doing searches like you do all the time using Google or Yahoo search engines. But to get paid for doing that, you have to do it either through the Swagbucks site after logging in, or download the Swagbucks toolbar. You'll enjoy earning bucks a lot more if you have the toolbar, because it's natural and easy. You'll see the "Toolbar" button in the left column on the main page. Click on it. Then click on the purple "Download" button. Click to run it. It takes a few seconds. You get 1 swagbuck at the end of the process which will automatically credit to your account. After you've downloaded the toolbar, open a new browser window. You'll see near the top of the page:
Now all you have to do is type in your searches and watch for your Swagbuck wins. The toolbar will also show a running total of your swagbucks.
It's clear when you win Swagbucks after a search. Right above the search results, you'll see a screen like this:

You have to confirm that by typing in a short combo of letters. Then the points go to your account. Just doing normal searches I earn about 40 Swagbucks a day. When I first downloaded the toolbar, I only won
about once a day; now it's about 3-5 times a day.
Another way to get Swagbucks is to refer your friends and family. After you join Swagbucks, then look in the upper bar for the "Promote" button. Click on "Invite and Earn". You can invite them by email. When your referrals earn Swagbucks, so do you, up to the first 1000 Swagbucks earned by your referral. You can also post your referral link on the Referral Board Swagbucks is going strong. I'm earning all the Amazon gift cards I can. They pay consistently.
