(Also, now that your thrilled son/daughter or grandson/granddaughter has opened the Trio Castle, how about a picture of him/her playing with it. I'm putting together a collage. If you don't get the print issue, you will get a free copy if your Trio Castle picture is in it. You don't need to write about it if you don't want to. Please send focused pictures, thanks.)

The next print issue of RefundCents, Jan/Feb 2010, will be the
30th Anniversary issue!
I'm proud of the strength and longevity of RefundCents and want to make the Anniversary issue a blow-out. To do that, I need lots of help from readers, and want to reward contributors with free issues and prizes. Everyone can join in, even if you don't get the print issue. When your contribution is used, you'll get the issue and the reward. Here's what is needed:
*** TIPS & TALK letters and pictures:
Send a Tips & Talk article of at least 300 words with a clear picture. You'll receive 3! free months added to your subscription (print and/or on-line) when your article is published*. Please include a person in the picture. The choice of topics is huge. You could write about a great deal, an excellent shopping experience, how couponing has changed your life, helping charities with your stockpiles, your personal couponing/stockpiling philosophy, your history with RefundCents, tips for organizing, how your skills have improved over the years, how you've trained the next generation of couponers, your profits over the years, anything that is shopping/coupon related and of interest to fellow members.
* If there are too many articles for the Jan/Feb issue, they will be included in the March or April issue. You still get the full reward. If you are on-line only, you will be mailed the issue that contains your article.
** FRONT AND BACK cover pictures and articles:
Submit a Tips & Talk article (see above). If it is chosen for the front or back cover of the 30th Anniversary issue, you get one year! added to your subscription. That's a $25 value.
Tip: Clear, colorful happy pictures are chosen for the covers. Creativity counts. Take a look at a lot of the past RC covers here for inspiration. If you turn your camera vertically, that works for the cover. Horizontal pictures work for the back cover.
**PRIZES, PRIZES, PRIZES
As an extra incentive because this is such an important landmark issue, we are going to have a PRIZE DRAWING for everyone who submits an article + picture by Dec 28, 2009. There will be 15 prizes, including cash $3, $5, $8, $10, coupon wallets, deluxe coupon box, priority mailer full of coupon inserts, RC t-shirt, $10 Amazon gift certificate, 6 month renewal, etc. Odds of winning are excellent. To be in on the drawing, I have to have your article and picture in hand by Monday Dec 28.
