Lawsuit Settlement from Amazon e-Books

If you bought eBooks from Amazon in the last few years, and you live in one of 33 states where the Attorneys General sued Amazon and Google over the pricing of eBooks, then check your email today for one concerning a credit just added to your Amazon account. Mine was for $49.43. Amazon and book publishers were guilty of price fixing and setting prices too high, hence a huge pot of money is being distributed as either an Amazon credit, or if you bought eBooks through Google, you'll get a check. You don't have to do anything. You'll either get the credit added automatically to your Amazon account (the email informs you that this has happened) or you'll get a check in the mail.

** If I'm reading this right, the credit has to be used on the purchase of more ebooks, not on general merchandise at Amazon, and the credit is good for one year, until 6/24/17. It looks like I'll be getting some more good reads off Amazon. That's enough for 5-20 eBooks, depending on the price.
