Tomorrow, May 2, is the annual free Comic Book Day at participating comic book stores. Read about it here. There are 50 titles to choose from. Go to the store locator here and enter your zip. There are lots of participating retailers. There are no age limits either. No promises, but some stores give more than one free comic per person. Depends on the turnout.
