I did the Kohl's happy dance last
night. I was able to stack 3 different types
of Kohl's money --
$15 Kohl's Cash - from Black Friday week purchase
$10 Kohl's birthday money which came in an email (happy birthday to me LOL)
$10 Kohl's Yes2Rewards, also emailed to me without asking
for a total of $35 in free cash. I headed to Kohl's, not knowing what I was going to get with my little treasure. I ended up with a free Playskool toy for grandson Treven (on sale for half price), 2 pairs of Hanes Sheer hose (also on sale), and a birthday card (not on sale). You know that feeling as you walk out the door -- "All Free, All Free, All FREE!".
Two things I learned -- You can carry a balance on your Kohl's Cash. The first time through checkout, my various Kohl's money was more than enough, with $6.72 left over. The checker took my paper with the Kohl's cash, folded it over to the blank side, and ran it through the register, to show I still had a $6.72 balance. Of course, I went back and spent that immediately. Also, I never seem to get my Kohl's Cash through an email when I order online. It just doesn't show up. I was ready to call Kohls (which I had to do last year), when I discovered that you can go into your account at Kohls, click on "Kohls Cash" under your account, and print it from there. That made me very happy. Only glitch-- the Kohl's Cash $15 UPC did not scan, but that turned out okay because the checker punched in the numbers and it credited.
