Check your Kroger online account for new personalized coupons to load. I had one for free Kroger cold cereal, good through 1/18/15. I loaded it to my card and am good to go.
Update: It sounds like everyone is getting a different freebie, probably based on past purchases. Be sure you check your account for a personalized freebie. Start here
