Sad news for central Ohio readers:
Kroger announced it will discontinue double coupons as of May 1. This follows the announcement 7 months ago that Meijer stopped doubling.
Personally, I think this is more fallout from Extreme Couponing. Stores took a big hit from people doubling hundreds of like coupons. Kroger cooperated, probably for the publicity, but it turned around to bite them in the &)(^*&$!@.
My condolences to all Ohio readers affected by this.
